Maintain Educational Standards in Colorado Organizational Endorsements

We, the undersigned Colorado organizations, implore the Colorado General Assembly, the Colorado Department of Education, and the Colorado State Board of Education, to maintain the current scientific standards used in our public schools. Specifically, we call for the proper separation of disciplines, with the humanities such as metaphysics, philosophy, and "intelligent design", being taught separately from the sciences, such as mathematics, biology and chemistry.

We do this in the interest of providing Colorado's children with the education they will need to succeed in the modern world and in the hopes of maintaining the neutrality of our public schools for our very diverse student body in respect to faith and religious belief.
